About Train Volleyball

The Huntsville area offers incredible club volleyball during the Spring with RCVC, AEVBC,  NASA, and NACA, and
some of the local schools contend statewide every Fall and Winter.

Train Volleyball was created to offer those players who wish to continue to develop their skills during the Summer
months the chance to learn the outdoor game, and to give all players the  opportunity to get personalized training
whenever they want to push to the next level.

Who is putting this all together?

Thanks for your interest!  I am Paul Wessling, Director of Train Volleyball, and I have had the wonderful experience of
participating in both sand and indoor volleyball for over 15 years.  I've gotten to compete at levels all the way from
neighborhood rivalries, to AA USAV Nationals, to Open level beach tours.

I still love to compete, but I have found it even more rewarding to be able to teach the game.  The thrill of a
tournament victory is easily rivaled by the thrill of seeing a player have a breakthrough in his/her skills and game
concepts.

Train volleyball offers me a chance to help grow the volleyball community in the Huntsville area, and to give kids and
adults another healthy pastime during the Summer.  I am honored and excited to be part of such a great community.

Who else is involved?

Many of the area coaches have been and continue to be very helpful in getting the outdoor scene started, and many
friends are helping too.  I am very grateful to all of them and continue to value their support.

A special thanks goes to the City of Huntsville for co-sponsoring our events and for making such a great facility
available.
